Our Famous Trains for the Former Railways – LMS, LNER, GWR, SR
The theme of famous trains will be met on the 00-scale model railway in Derby by running examples of well-known trains from different periods from the history of railways in Britain, including this one. We have aspirations to run trains similar to those listed here (not all at the same time!). Our aim is that every visitor will recognise at least some of these trains from his or her own life experience, many of which are trains that run or ran in the Derby area. The most famous trains are highlighted in red.
