The Coronation Arrives
Famous Trains has been wanting an LNER Coronation streamlined train for several years to complement our model of the Silver Jubilee train. At last we have succeeded in acquiring one!
Our pictures show the Coronation set being hauled by A4 Pacific 4484 Falcon. A star vehicle is the 'beaver-tail' observation car on the back. The train used to work between London King's Cross and Edinburgh, but, like the Silver Jubilee, was withdrawn on the onset of the second world war.
