Sir Anthony, the newly acquired Peckett 0-6-0ST shunting engine

Famous Trains has been running Hornby's delightful Peckett 0-4-0ST for about two years. We wanted to give it a standby locomotive to enable the factory we call Darley Mills to rely on this genre of locomotive long-term even when one is under repair. So we bought one of Hornby's latest models, the Peckett 0-6-0ST. With two more wheels, this locomotive has additional pick-ups which should enable it to run even more smoothly than the 0-4-0ST.

However, we didn't much like the shade of green that Hornby's engine called 'Sherwood' was painted, so ours has been repainted into the standard green used on all transport items at Darley Mills. Our 81-years-old president still claims to have a steady hand when painting models!
